Our Story

African Elegance Meets Tropical Indulgence.

There are countless vodka brands on the market, each promising a smooth drinking experience. Yet many share familiar characteristics — harsh finishes, lingering aftertastes, a burning sensation, or a heaviness that can distract from the moment.

Friends and pharmacists Leslie Monye and Gbessay Bockai believed there was a better way.

Driven by a passion for craftsmanship and a curiosity for what vodka could become, they set out to create a spirit that delivered exceptional smoothness without sacrificing character. Their research led them to sugar cane — an ingredient known for producing a cleaner, lighter, and more refined vodka compared to traditional grain-based alternatives.

From there, the vision became clear.

Using sugar cane as the foundation, they developed a triple-distilled vodka designed to be exceptionally smooth, crisp, and velvety. To further enhance the experience, MON-YÉ is infused with coconut water during the latter stages of distillation — not to create a flavored vodka, but to contribute to its remarkably clean finish and distinctive mouthfeel.

The result is MON-YÉ: a premium vodka crafted for those who appreciate quality, culture, and connection. Smooth enough to sip, versatile enough for cocktails, and designed to elevate every gathering.
